20. DON’S ADVENTURE IN ANOTHER WORLD

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Isekai | 6/10 | 143 “Hiatus” | 7.49☆ |
DESCRIPTION
His body has different abilities and talents, but he has not found many ways to use them in the real world, all he can do is to be a professional killer’s job. But at least after going to a different world, where there is only fighting or death on the battlefield its strength will appear differently. The Reaper’s name known is Tang Yin (a.k.a Brother Don)…
MY REVIEW
This manhwa starts strong, following a ruthless modern-day killer who’s Isekai’d into a war-torn battlefield. As he fights to survive, he got lucky and inherent an hidden spiritual power and begins to grow.
The story follows his journey from a lone killer to a brilliant strategist, moving up the rank in the army, forming alliances and conquering lands. The cast is memorable, each character with their own unique traits.
The art isn’t the best but does its job, while the pacing keeps things engaging. Some say the story dips in quality midway, but I didn’t find it a big issue.
Overall, a thrilling read for fans of action-packed historical dramas.
19. THE RETURN OF THE SUPERHERO

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Isekai | 6/10 | 488 | 7.36☆ |
DESCRIPTION
Zero was mankind’s first real superhero. Under his watch, countless other superheros appeared and followed in his footsteps. However, after 5 years of war, Zero disappeared without a trace.
Note: this is not your usual Chinese manhua, please read them from right to left (similar to Japanese format).
MY REVIEW
This manhwa is a good one, featuring an MC like Saitama—effortlessly cool, insanely strong, and totally unfazed.
It’s not your typical Chinese manhua. Expect over-the-top cheesiness, slapstick humor, and some pervy moments. The MC’s laid-back attitude hides his true power, making for some fun surprises.
The humor might feel cringy to some, but others (like me) find it charming.
Love it or hate it, if you want something light, funny, and action-packed, give this a shot.
18. GHOST BLADE

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Angel | 10/10 | 45 | 8.33☆ |
DESCRIPTION
Long, long ago in Neraland, the pious human built a great tower to show the respect to their Goddess Nera.
Goddess Nera was deeply moved by human piety; to reward them, she opened a door at the top of the tower. This ethereal door connected to another world; it was known as Heaven’s Eye.
However…
MY REVIEW
Ghost Blade is amazing. The story is great and the art is one of the best I’ve seen in a manhwa. It’s as good as ‘Her Summon’!
The artist’s style is unique, but sometimes the panels are laid out in weird ways. The story can be hard to follow if you’re not paying attention. Just when you get into it, you get left hanging.
I’d give Ghost Blade 10/10. It’s a shame it’s not getting updated. If you’re willing to put in the effort, it’s an unforgettable read.
17. SWAPPING LIVES

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Comedy | 7/10 | 55 | 8.04☆ |
DESCRIPTION
Zhao Yan got into trouble with the beautiful counselor Chen Yurou due to pranks played by his three roommates in the same dormitory. Facing the challenge of being disciplined by Chen Yurou, the “Life Exchange Club System” suddenly activated. Zhao Yan entered the system hall and embarked on a path of exchanging lives with members of different levels in the club.
By helping the exchanged individuals solve their problems, achieve their dreams, exchange for items, and enhance his abilities, Zhao Yan eventually climbed the ladder to become a CEO, conquering the hearts of beautiful and wealthy women, and living a splendid life with luxury cars and mansions.
MY REVIEW
This manhwa presents an intriguing premise: what happens when a poor young man suddenly finds himself inhabiting the body of a wealthy individual? Our MC’s journey is a fascinating exploration of this concept.
One aspect that particularly stands out is the ‘manwha’ world-building, which showcases the MC’s lavish spending habits and his unbridled enjoyment of his new life. It’s a unique and entertaining take on the traditional ‘fish out of water’ story.
Overall, I’d give this manhwa a solid 7 out of 10. If you’re looking for a humorous and lighthearted read with a dash of fantasy, this is definitely worth checking out. I’m confident many readers will find it an enjoyable and engaging ride!”
16. PLEASE STOP SUMMONING ME

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Harem | 7/10 | 78 | 8.12☆ |
DESCRIPTION
After Shen Yi passed through, more and more inexplicable people began to summon him, cults, wizards, investigators, saints…Weird prayers filled my mind, and each god name was completely different. “Lord of Ashes”, “Colorless City”, “White Mist on the Other Shore”, “Ancient Spirit”, “Void Dream”, “Chaos Watcher”…
Every summoner has something Desire, and at the same time, various sacrifices will be offered. Shen Yi was overwhelmed with annoyance, but there was no way to refuse. On this day, he was finally summoned by cultists
MY REVIEW
I really enjoyed this manhwa, especially how the MC’s true powers remain a mystery to everyone, including himself. This adds tension and keeps things exciting.
The story balances mystery with humor, delivering some genuinely funny moments. However, it does have a harem element, which might not be for everyone.
Overall, it’s a compelling read, and I’m excited to see where it goes next.
15. THE MAKING OF A MIRACULOUS DOCTOR

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Medical | 8/10 | 135 | 7.93☆ |
DESCRIPTION
Layne, a freshly graduated med student, believes there must be something wrong with him when a mysterious game screen appears before him one day. Upon assessing that he hasn’t actually gone insane, he decides to open the screen, only to….
MY REVIEW
I love this medical manhwa—easily one of my favorites. The MC’s smart use of his cheat system and introverted nature make for a great story.
He’s handsome, brilliant, and a medical genius, yet he stays humble and composed, earning respect effortlessly. His way of handling haters with quiet confidence is both satisfying and funny.
Overall, a must-read!!
14. RECKLESS RICHES: THE DIVINE SYSTEM

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Harem | 7.5/10 | 40 “ongoing” | 7.96☆ |
DESCRIPTION

With this system, every action he takes is transformed into a calculated risk, and each decision rewards him with real money. Now, with this powerful opportunity in his hands, how will Xingwang navigate his way from rags to riches?
MY REVIEW
This Chinese manhua may not offer anything particularly unique in terms of storyline, but it makes up for it with its entertaining and fun nature. The wealthy main character’s antics and clever ways of oppressing people with his money are especially amusing.
As with any series, I recommend giving it a try for a few chapters. If it doesn’t resonate with you, it’s perfectly fine to drop it. While it may not be a standout in terms of originality, its lighthearted and humorous tone makes it an enjoyable read.
13. THE GAME IS TOO REALISTIC

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Robotics | 7.5/10 | 84 “Hiatus” | 7.73☆ |
DESCRIPTION
Chu Guang, who had traveled to the post-apocalyptic world, discovered that he had unlocked a shelter system and was able to summon creatures named “player” from the previous world.
From that day on, the whole post-apocalyptic world became like a game.
MY REVIEW
This manhua offers a fresh twist on the city-building genre by incorporating elements of the VR/Realistic Game genre. The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, evoking a Fallout-esque atmosphere.
What sets this manhua apart is its focus on the ‘Players’ and the Game Master-like MC. The narrative explores the intricate dynamics between these characters, creating a captivating and immersive world.
Overall, I highly recommend this manhua for its unique blend of genres and engaging storyline. If you’re a fan of city-building, VR gaming, or post-apocalyptic settings, you’ll likely find this title compelling.

Their martial arts civilization reached the apex, and yet there was no one left to inherit it. Except Lu Sheng, he’s exactly that last spark of hope!
MY REVIEW
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this cultivation manhwa. The story is engaging, and the MC’s unique blend of OP abilities and hard work makes for a compelling narrative. What sets this MC apart is his dedication to self-improvement, despite being more powerful than his peers.
The plot strikes a great balance between complexity and clarity, avoiding overwhelming info dumps while still providing a rich and immersive world. As a cultivation manhwa, it’s a rare gem that stands out from the usual fare. Though I still have to admit that some of it’s elements is cliché
Overall, I’d highly recommend this to fans of the action genre looking for a fresh take on cultivation.
Note the: It might not worth the hype for everyone
11. LUCKY ME: I SECRETLY CULTIVATED FOR 1,000 YEARS

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Harem | 7.5/10 | 300 “completed” | 8.14☆ |
DESCRIPTION
Reborn in the cultivation world, Han Jue found that he could actually roll the dice to refresh his Spiritual Root Attributes and Innate Talents, just like in a game. To live long enough, Han Jue decided to practice his cultivation secretly and not to draw anyone’s attention, but when the sect he was in encountered a calamity, he came forward.
Thousands of years later, the cultivators in the cultivation world had changed from generation to generation. When the immortal world decided to “clean up” the mortal world, Han Jue had to stand out against it. Only then did he realize that it seemed the immortals were not as powerful as he had imagined
MY REVIEW
I’ll try to use simpler vocabulary and sentence structures to make my responses easier to understand. Let me try rewriting the previous response:
I like how this story is told. Han Jue is the main character, but the people around him have amazing adventures too. We get to see these adventures through emails and different perspectives.
It feels like we’re reading many stories at once, all connected to Han Jue’s story. The novel has more of these extra perspectives, but they’re not all in the manhua.
10. ETERNAL CLUB

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Supernatural | 7.5/10 | 300 “completed” | 8.14☆ |
DESCRIPTION

So he begins to build a top-class “Lifespan club”!
MY REVIEW
I highly recommend this manhwa – it’s a standout title that breaks away from clichés with its unique storyline. The MC is exceptionally intelligent, calculating, and strategic, leveraging his abilities to gain power, wealth, and influential connections.
What impresses me most is how the MC navigates a world where his abilities are feared, using them to his advantage without succumbing to common tropes. This manhwa undoubtedly deserves a top spot on our list – it’s a compelling read that will keep you engaged and invested in the MC’s journey.
9. THE DEVILS NEVER CRIES

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Demons | 8/10 | 95 “Ongoing” | 8.25☆ |
DESCRIPTION

Aang: “Don’t let yourself be a slave to your limits, break free and become a demon that reigns!
MY REVIEW
Demonic Evolution is a hidden gem that deserves more attention! I’m thoroughly enjoying this manhwa, and I hope it continues to receive the recognition it deserves.
The artwork is exceptional, and the story, while utilizing familiar tropes, is expertly executed. The premise of a powerful being trapped in the MC’s body is a classic, but the author’s spin on it is engaging and immersive.
What truly sets this manhwa apart, however, is the MC himself. He’s a standout protagonist – confident, capable, and charismatic. His character adds a layer of depth to the narrative, making the story even more compelling.
Overall, I highly recommend Demonic Evolution to fans of the genre. It’s an underrated gem that’s sure to captivate and entertain!
8. RAVAGES OF TIME

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Military | 6/10 | 615 “ongoing” | 8.65☆ |
DESCRIPTION
Nearly 2000 years ago, the prosperous Han dynasty of China collapsed. Heroes rose and fell, and three nations emerged–Wei, Shu, and Wu. Historians refer to this period as the Three Kingdoms period. The romance of the three kingdoms is an intriguing tale of heroic deeds, of alliance forged and broken, of loyalty and betrayal.
Hong Kong artist Chan Mou retells this classic tale in “The Ravages of Time” from the perspective of the Sima clan, which in the end united the three kingdoms. Readers will be attracted by an array of well-developed characters and Chan Mou’s own unique top-notch art-style. Whether you have played Dynasty Warriors or not, this is definitely worth a read!
MY REVIEW
Honestly, just based on plots this manhwa’s story rivals many popular Korean manhwas like Omniscient Reader, Gosu, and Martial Arts Lee Gwak. If not for its black and white art, it would be nearly flawless.
However, if you’re not a fan of older art styles, this might not be for you. Additionally, the story assumes some knowledge of the 3 Kingdoms period, so it can get confusing. To prepare, I recommend reading the first 20 chapters of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms manga, which helped me understand the context.
7. EVOLUTION BEGINS WITH A BIG TREE

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Supernatural | 7/10 | 340 “Ongoing | 8.41☆ |
DESCRIPTION
Reborn as a willow tree!? Resurrection of spiritual energy, rise of all things. The reborn willow has also embarked on the path of evolution. It can evolve infinitely, is it “divine power” or “curse”?
MY REVIEW
I’d have never believed someone if they told me a manhua with a tree as the main character would become one of my favorites. But here I am, thoroughly enjoying it!
The plot is incredibly engaging, and I highly recommend giving it a try. Don’t let the unusual premise deter you – trust me, it’s worth it!”
6. THE EVIL RINGS

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Supernatural | 9/10 | 46 “Ongoing” | 8.14☆ |
DESCRIPTION
18 years ago, a prophecy emerged that a boy with a black ring, deemed inferior, would rewrite the survival rules of the world of the gifted. The only remaining descendant of the “Divine-Tier” status, Shannon, wears a black ring and lives as an inferior being in the filthy exile zone.
However, his peaceful life is shattered when his identity is exposed, and the top-tier forces, seeing him as a threat, send out an assassination squad to kill Shannon. Five gifted individuals, who have existed since childhood to protect Shannon, are summoned at the same time. They rush to the exile zone to protect the last descendant of the “Divine-Tier” status, and a battle among the “rings” is about to ignite!
MY REVIEW
This manhwa has the best art on this list. The story starts with a great hook and the art is amazing. It’s no surprise that ‘The Evil Rings’ is one of the top manhwas on Tapas.
Some parts felt a bit slow to me, but I haven’t seen anyone else complain. Overall, ‘The Evil Rings’ is one of the best manhwas from last year.
5. MY WIFE IS FROM A THOUSAND YEARS AGO

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Martial arts | 8/10 | 231 “Ongoing” | 8.50☆ |
DESCRIPTION

Everything the girl was familiar with has become history. Relatives, friends, and enemies have all been left behind 1,200 years ago. The boy is unreserved and leads the girl to start a new life. Pain, confusion, cheers, and laughter will remain in this new world.
MY REVIEW
This manhwa is truly exceptional! The art is well-done, the pacing is spot on, and I didn’t have any issues with it. I dropped it temporarily at chapter 100 due to no new updates, and I haven’t picked it up again since.
Keep in mind that my review only covers the first 100 chapters. What stands out to me is the manhwa’s comedy – it’s genuinely top-notch. The romance is also well-handled, feeling natural and unforced. As an action manhwa fan myself, I appreciate that the romance doesn’t overshadow the rest of the story, making it enjoyable for readers like me.
4. LU BU’S LIFE SIMULATOR

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Military | 7/10 | 108 “Ongoing” | 8.27☆ |

Take the prettiest women, ride the fastest war horse, wield the strongest weapon, one rider blocking the GuanDong 18 roads*. One man standing against ten thousand, they bow to this hero of turbulent times. People say if Lu Bu doesn’t die, there will be no opportunity to cause chaos.
I laugh at all the hypocrites in the world; there are no other heroes besides Feng Xian. Entering the life story of more than a thousand reincarnations, experiencing the many vicissitudes of life, tempered into steel. Can the current Lu Bu Feng Xian withstand the inevitable end at Bai Men Lou?
MY REVIEW
Lu bu’s life simulation is undoubtedly one of the best manhua out there, boasting an exceptionally well-crafted storyline that rivals the greatest system-based manhwa. The military elements are expertly woven into the narrative, creating a truly immersive experience. With its unique blend of strategy and action,is a must-read.
3. REVERED INSANITY

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Martial arts | 7/10 | 108 “96 axed” | 8.45☆ |
DESCRIPTION
A story of a villain, Fang Yuan who was reborn 500 years into the past with the Spring Autumn Cicada he painstakingly refined. With his profound wisdom, battle and life experiences, he seeks to overcome his foes with skill and wit! Ruthless and amoral, he has no need to hold back as he pursues his ultimate goals. In a world of cruelty where one cultivates using Gu – magical creatures of the world – Fang Yuan must rise up above all with his own power.
Note: Gu is a legendary venomous insect, often used in black magic practices. It can take on the form of several insects, usually snakes, crickets, worms etc.
MY REVIEW
This manhua is undoubtedly peak, with its graphic and intense storytelling that pulls no punches. However, be warned: the MC’s actions can be quite grim, particularly when it comes to children. That being said, the author’s vivid descriptions and dark humor add a layer of complexity to the narrative.
One of my favorite passages showcases the MC’s creativity and ruthlessness, as he uses a lion head gu to devour a strength-defecating gu, culminating in the lion head gu’s hilarious and irreverent chant: ‘Eat shit, eat shit!’ While not for the faint of heart, this novel is a wild ride that will leave you breathless. Sadly it got canceled so if you’re the type that will resent it for that, it’s not for you
2. WAY TO BE THE EVIL EMPEROR

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Martial arts | 7/10 | 548 “Ongoing” | 8.48☆ |
DESCRIPTION

#Eastern Fantasty #Comedy #FaceSlap
#2021 HIT NEW MALE LEAD COMIC
【Update 5 chapters every Friday】The story of Xie Yan, a ridiculously handsome man who fell into the hands of sexy women lusting after his body upon transmigration. To avoid dying from dual-cultivation, he travelled to countless worlds.
MY REVIEW
Warning: Minor spoilers ahead!
I’ve had the pleasure of diving into this cultivation/wuxia manhua, and I must say it’s a game-changer. The art, story, and overall execution exceed expectations, setting a new standard for the genre.
However, there’s a significant issue that detracts from the experience: the flawed female lead (FL). While she undergoes decent character development, her actions are consistently problematic. She repeatedly takes advantage of the MC, who acquiesces to her demands. Moreover, the story features NTR elements, which may be off-putting to some readers.
Despite claims of redemption, the FL’s behavior throughout the narrative makes her a difficult character to sympathize with or root for. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like she’ll be facing any consequences or undergoing significant character growth to address these issues.
Overall, while this manhua excels in many areas, the FL’s character development and actions are a major letdown.
1. I’M REALLY NOT THE DEMON GOD’S LACKY BILIBILI

THEME | ART | CHAPTERS | RATING |
Demons | 7/10 | 151 “Ongoing | 8.85☆ |
DESCRIPTION
Lin Jie is an otherworlder who manages a bookstore. He’s kind and always recommends soul-healing books for his dejected customers. Sometimes he’d even share his own works too. As time goes on, these customers start to respect him a lot.
They bring simple local products every day to show their gratitude and ask for book recommendations. They even start telling tales of this ordinary shopkeeper. His respectful and cordial titles include “Hyena of the Evil God”, “Herald of the Flesh Gospel”, “Author of Cultes des Goules” and “Shepherd of the Stars”???
MY REVIEW
This manhwa is a clear favorite among fans, and for good reason – it’s extremely well-done. I’ve been a fan for a while now, and it’s easy to see why.
The premise is clever: a powerful, ancient demon god loses his memory and lives as a normal human. The result is a humorous and often confusing story, where the MC unknowingly shows off his incredible powers while thinking he’s just a regular person.
This fresh take on the ‘power fantasy’ genre makes for an enjoyable read. Just be prepared for some complicated plot twists as the story unfolds. Overall, this manhwa is a must-read!”
